Volcanic Activity

The Etna Volcano In Sicily Italy had no less than 3 paroxyms, with lava fountains, and lava flows with tall ash plmes from the New South East crater with the past 20 hours

so far. This marks a change from the previous 9-month period, which was mild to moderate.

The Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka has a small partial collapse of the active lava dome, which took place last night at 23h45, and produced a small pyroclastic flow, followed by mud flows towards the ravine at the North East flank. There was an ash plume which rose to about 7000 M in altitude, VAAC Tokyo reported.

Why The Recent Fireballs In The Sky Was So Significant

It's not everyday that a 7 fireballs are seen all over the world, and 1 fireball could have potentially killed a lot of people. Just take a look at this video clip of the fireball hitting, and then shattering glass:

Here is a meteor, that was traveling extremely fast, and weighted 10 tons, if it hit a city it would have potentially done much more damage. Thankfully everyone was ok, but you hav to wonder if this is the new normal? A fireball that has affected humans is something that is almost unheard of.

This was the most significant event that has taken place in a long time, not only because of the damage to people and buildings, but also the other fireballs seen over the skies. Hopefully we will not have to deal with this in the future, but from the looks of things we might have no choice but to deal with it.
